Blue skies, open fields and peaceful lake settings are often painted by Saskatoon watercolor artist Alison Ruth Montgomery. She paints "en plein air" (in open air) at various locations around the province,most often in and around Saskatoon,Blaine Lake,Waskesieu and Prince Albert National Park.
The Saskatchewan landscape continues to be her preferred subject matter-"The prairie exudes an aroma and an ambience that soothes the soul and inspires the creative spirit."
