Mario Beaudoin  Mario Beaudoin was born in Quebec, Canada where, to this day, he still resides. He attended College de Levis, Levis Qc., and Arlette Paradis, St-Romulad, Qc. After having learning to work in several mediums, his preference is to paint with oils on canvas. When painting, he has two basic concepts in mind: first the colours must be highly contrasting and secondly the shapes of the objects must be clearly defined in a non-traditional perspective. His favourite subjects are of the Quebecois villages, where the architecture allows him to superimpose quaint old houses and churches onto his already colourful background. Depending upon the season, Mario’’s colours can be within an orange and green palette for summer and deep purples for the snowy winters. Mario Beaudoin has had several solo and group Exhibitions and is a member of the Artists Association of Charlsbourg.
