For close to 20 years, Myrna Harris supplied the gallery with her wonderful pieces of felted wool paintings. These unique take on the prairie landscape have graced many homes throughout the world. Myrna passed away last summer but had just supplied the gallery with some more of her breathtaking prairie landscapes that have huge depth and great sentimentality to all of us prairie dwellers. Myrna was always an extremely creative person that did pottery, weaving, painting and last but not least felting. When asked how she decided that her felted wool paintings were what she wanted to do, her reply was "This is it! I have found it!". Myrna will be sadly missed by all who knew her and admired her. To celebrate her impact in the art world, please stop by on Saturday, May 22 from 1 to 5 pm to view her last art show.
